Job Title: Estimation Engineer Location: Kannur, Kerala, India Requirements :02 no’s Job Summary: The Estimation Engineer will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for instrumentation and fluid/flow control projects. This role involves analysing project specifications, assessing material and labour costs, and collaborating with sales and engineering teams to develop competitive bids. Key Responsibilities: 1. Estimate Preparation: Analyse project specifications, drawings, and requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for instrumentation and fluid/flow control solutions. Identify and quantify all materials, labour, and equipment needed for the project. 2. Technical Evaluation: Assess the technical requirements and ensure compatibility with proposed solutions. Liaise with suppliers for pricing and lead times on components and systems. 3. Bid Development: Develop comprehensive bids and proposals. Collaborate with sales and engineering teams to ensure estimates meet client requirements and project timelines. 4. Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and risk assessments. Review and refine estimates based on project feedback and historical data. 5. Client Interaction: Present and explain estimates to clients. Address any client inquiries and provide technical support during the bidding process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical) 3+ years of experience in estimation within the instrumentation, fluid, or flow control industry. Strong understanding of instrumentation and fluid/flow control systems and components. Proficiency in estimation software and tools. Excellent analytical and communication skills.
