Key Responsibilities:

Estimation of Machining components and fabricated items
Reverse Engineering knowledge
Project Estimation
Cost Optimization
Cost Control and cost reduction
Prepare and evaluate detailed cost estimates based on technical specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
Collaborate with the design and sales teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.
Analyze material, labor, and time requirements for projects.
Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and liaise with vendors for pricing of bought-out items.
Prepare techno-commercial proposals and respond to RFQs/RFPs.
Maintain an updated cost database of raw materials, components, and services.
Support cost control during project execution.
Identify and propose cost-saving alternatives during the estimation stage.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in estimation or costing in the machinery or manufacturing industry.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and MS Office.
Good understanding of engineering drawings and machine components.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in pharmaceutical machinery or capital equipment manufacturing.
Knowledge of ERP systems and costing software.
