Estimation & Billing Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Billing Engineer (Civil & Interior) to manage client billing, contractor/vendor billing, quantity validation, and site coordination for civil and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate and timely invoicing, compliance with contract terms, and effective coordination between the site and commercial team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review client bills (RA/Final Bills) and subcontractor/vendor bills based on work progress and site measurements.
• Validate quantities from GFC drawings, BOQ, and site execution reports.
• Coordinate with site teams, vendors, and project managers for billing documentation and measurements.
• Maintain records of Daily Progress Reports (DPR), Work Orders, and Measurement Books.
• Prepare and update bill certification sheets, bar bending schedules (BBS), and material reconciliation reports.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, approved BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Verify extra items/deviations and prepare supporting documents for approvals.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice submission, follow-ups, and payments.
• Participate in client meetings related to billing, reconciliation, and commercial discussions.
• Maintain billing trackers and generate MIS reports related to billing, cost, and quantities.

Required Skills:

• Strong understanding of civil construction and interior fit-out processes and materials.
• Proficient in quantity surveying, measurement validation, and rate analysis.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing software (e.g., ERP, Tally, etc.).
• Familiarity with IS codes, DSR rates, CPWD specifications, and contractual billing norms.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in residential, commercial, hotel, or retail interior projects.
• Knowledge of taxation (GST), retention, advance recovery, and statutory compliance in billing.
• Exposure to cost control, reconciliation, and final account settlement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
