ELV Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ELV Systems Engineer to design, review, and oversee the implementation of ELV systems, including Fire Alarm, CCTV, Access Control, Public Address, Structured Cabling, and BMS interfaces. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system designs meet project specifications, industry standards, and compliance requirements from conception to project handover. Responsibilities: Design and review ELV systems (CCTV, Fire Alarm, PA, Access Control, etc.) as per project specs and standards. Prepare system layouts, schematics, and BOQs. Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities. Coordinate with MEP, civil, and architectural teams for integration. Ensure compliance with NFPA, BS, IEC, and local safety codes. Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues. Liaise with vendors and contractors for quality and timely execution. Provide technical support and prepare reports, documentation, and as-built drawings. Qualifications: Bachelor’s in Electrical/Electronics/Telecom Engineering. 3+ years in ELV design and execution. Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office; ELV software knowledge is a plus. Familiar with NFPA, BICSI, SIRA standards. Strong communication and coordination skills.
