Job Description

Role Overview: As the ESG Manager, you will lead the design, execution, and governance of the organization's ESG agenda. You will be accountable for developing ESG strategy, targets, programs, and disclosures in alignment with leadership, functional heads, and external stakeholders such as investors, customers, rating agencies, and regulators. Key Responsibilities: - Translate business strategy, stakeholder expectations, and risk landscape into a comprehensive ESG strategy and roadmap. - Define ESG priorities, goals, and KPIs and ensure their integration into corporate strategy, risk management, and business planning. - Establish ESG governance structures, policies, and decision rights, including committees, working groups, and charters. - Lead cross-functional ESG programs such as decarbonization, resource efficiency, responsible sourcing, DEI, community impact, ethics & compliance. - Coordinate with various teams to implement ESG actions, monitor progress, resolve bottlenecks, and escalate risks when necessary. - Own the ESG data model, controls, and governance, oversee sustainability reports and regulatory filings, manage external assurance processes, and improve ESG ratings. - Serve as the main contact for ESG matters with investors, analysts, customers, partners, and rating agencies, prepare ESG updates, and coordinate responses to ESG questionnaires. - Develop ESG-related policies, integrate ESG into enterprise risk management, track ESG regulations, and anticipate upcoming changes. - Lead and mentor a team of ESG Consultants/Analysts, build ESG awareness across the organization, and promote a culture of responsible business practices. Qualifications Required: - Masters/advanced degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, Business, Economics, Public Policy, Engineering, or related fields. - 6-10+ years of relevant experience in ESG/sustainability/corporate responsibility/risk/consulting, with demonstrated leadership of ESG programs. - Strong understanding of ESG standards, taxonomies, and regulations, experience in managing ESG reporting and engagement with stakeholders. - Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, influencing senior stakeholders, and possessing deep knowledge of ESG frameworks and disclosure standards.
