Software Arhitect/Delivery Manager

Job Description

As a Deliver Manager at LogicLadder, you will play a pivotal role in driving the technical vision and innovation for our sustainability software solutions. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, you will lead a team of talented software engineers, guiding them in the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge systems that empower our clients to achieve their net-zero goals. Primary responsibilities include (but not limited to): Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence. Drive the architecture and design of complex, scalable systems that underpin LogicLadders sustainability software solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives. Actively participate in coding, debugging, and troubleshooting to maintain a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle. Conduct regular code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and high-quality standards. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and optimization. Act as a technical authority, providing insights into emerging technologies and industry trends. Contribute to the companys thought leadership by participating in technical blogs, conferences, and community engagement Requirements Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field. 6+ years of experience as a software engineer, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in building and leading high-performing engineering teams. Track record of delivering complex software projects from conception to production. Familiarity with sustainability software, energy management, or environmental monitoring solutions. Exposure to data engineering and data visualization technologies. Understanding of sustainability frameworks and environmental regulations. Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a strong preference for expertise in functional programming (e.g., Scala, Haskell, Clojure) Extensive experience in designing and developing scalable, distributed systems Deep understanding of software architecture patterns and design principles Expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization technologies Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and best practices Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams. Good to have : Experience with real-time data processing and streaming technologies Knowledge of machine learning and predictive analytics techniques Familiarity with IoT (Internet of Things) and sensor integration Involvement in open-source projects or contributions to the developer community Understanding of sustainability best practices and environmental impact reduction strategies.
