About the Role

Part-Time Executive



Key Responsibilities

1. Coordination with EIA Consultant

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between company management and the appointed EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment) consultant.
  • Ensure timely sharing of required technical, operational, and compliance-related data with the consultant.
  • Monitor the progress of EIA studies, documentation, and reports.

2. Regulatory Liaison

  • Assist in preparing and compiling necessary documents for submission to statutory authorities.
  • Track application status with the State Pollution Control Board (TNPCB), MoEF&CC, and other relevant authorities.
  • Facilitate responses to queries raised by regulatory bodies during the clearance process.

3. Documentation & Compliance Support

  • Maintain records of all communications, documents, reports, and submissions related to Environmental Clearance (EC).
  • Review draft reports (EIA, EMP, TOR compliance, etc.) for accuracy before submission.

4. Internal Coordination

  • Work closely with the company’s technical, production, and administrative teams to collect necessary inputs (plant layout, production capacity, raw material usage, waste management practices, etc.).
  • Provide regular updates to management on progress, challenges, and timelines.

5. Project Monitoring & Reporting

  • Prepare monthly progress reports on the status of the EC application.
  • Identify potential risks or delays and recommend solutions to ensure timely approvals.

6. Stakeholder Communication

  • Coordinate meetings between company, consultant, and statutory authorities.
  • Ensure smooth communication flow to avoid misinterpretations or delays.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Environmental Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in Environmental Clearance (EC), Consent to Establish (CTE), or Consent to Operate (CTO) processes preferred.
  • Familiarity with MoEF&CC and TNPCB procedures and documentation.
  • Strong communication, follow-up, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a part-time/project-based setup.
