Job Description

Job Title: EHS Executive Location: Wada, Maharashtra CTC Range: ₹8 LPA – ₹12 LPA Education: Any Graduate Industry Preference: Only candidates from the Chemicals industry Role Summary: We are looking for a dedicated and proactive EHS Executive to join our team at our Wada plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) standards in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, specifically within the chemical manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Ensure effective implementation of Safety Management Systems by evaluating SOP compliance across the plant. Conduct risk assessments (HIRA, JSA) and ensure implementation of recommended controls. Review identified risks periodically and update risk mitigation strategies. Carry out environmental risk assessments for plant activities. Organize and conduct EHS training sessions for employees and contract workers. Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 standards. Drive and monitor Behavior-Based Safety (BBS) programs, track observations and their effectiveness. Oversee basic safety systems including Permit to Work, LOTOTO, contractor safety, MOC, and chemical safety. Authorize work permits during shifts and routine operations. Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) for incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Plan and execute mock drills as per site safety protocols. Facilitate HAZOP, PSSR, and PRA for new projects and ensure implementation of necessary controls. Supervise Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) system operations. Maintain manifest system for effluent and hazardous waste disposal as per Hazardous Waste Management (HWM) Rules, including Form-3 compliance. Monitor and analyze daily water, effluent, and waste generation parameters. Ensure proper EHS induction for new joiners and visitors. Prepare and maintain EHS MIS reports and documentation. Candidate Profile: Must-Have: Minimum of 3–8 years of EHS experience in a chemical manufacturing setup. Hands-on experience in implementing ISO 45001 & ISO 14001. Strong knowledge of statutory regulations, environmental compliance, and safety protocols in the chemical industry. Practical experience in risk assessment, safety systems, ZLD operations, and hazardous waste management. Preferred Traits: Strong communication and training skills. Detail-oriented with a structured approach to documentation and compliance. Proactive attitude towards safety culture and continuous improvement.
