Environment Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and prepare related reports in compliance with local and international standards.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP) in line with ISO 14001 and project-specific requirements.
• Monitor air, water, noise, soil, and waste management activities across project sites.
• Identify environmental risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare periodic environmental reports (weekly, monthly) for client and regulatory submissions.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental safety reviews.
• Collaborate with project teams to promote sustainable practices and ensure environmental best practices are followed.
• Support stakeholder engagement and awareness initiatives related to environmental compliance.
• Stay updated with evolving environmental regulations, industry guidelines, and sustainability trends.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience in environmental consultancy, monitoring, or EHS compliance.
• Hands-on experience in environmental monitoring tools and methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance frameworks (national and international).
• Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GIS/ArcGIS/QGIS is an advantage.
