Job Title: Environment Consultant Job Code: ENV-CON-20 Location: Coimbatore, India Job Type: Full-time Workplace Type: On-site Job Overview We are hiring an Environment Consultant for our Coimbatore office. This role is responsible for conducting environmental assessments, ensuring compliance with national and international regulations, and promoting sustainable practices across project sites. Key Responsibilities Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and prepare related reports in compliance with local and international standards. Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP) in line with ISO 14001 and project-specific requirements. Monitor air, water, noise, soil, and waste management activities across project sites. Identify environmental risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure regulatory compliance. Prepare periodic environmental reports (weekly, monthly) for client and regulatory submissions. Conduct site inspections, audits, and environmental safety reviews. Collaborate with project teams to promote sustainable practices and ensure environmental best practices are followed. Support stakeholder engagement and awareness initiatives related to environmental compliance. Stay updated with evolving environmental regulations, industry guidelines, and sustainability trends. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline. 3–5 years of relevant work experience in environmental consultancy, monitoring, or EHS compliance. Hands-on experience in environmental monitoring tools and methodologies. Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance frameworks (national and international). Excellent report writing, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of GIS/ArcGIS/QGIS is an advantage.
