As a Project Engineer in HSE Consulting, you will be responsible for working on diverse projects across Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, and Tourism sectors with a focus on acoustic/noise monitoring and modeling. This role will provide you with technical, operational, and strategic exposure in environmental consulting, regulatory compliance, impact assessments, and stakeholder engagement. - Support and lead components of HSE studies including Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), Risk Assessments (QRA, HAZID, HAZOP), HSE audits, and compliance reporting. - Carry out and manage noise and acoustic studies which involve on-site noise monitoring, noise modeling using tools like SoundPLAN, CadnaA, or similar, and assessing noise impacts on sensitive receptors. - Interpret and apply local and international environmental standards and regulations. - Participate in client meetings, technical reviews, and stakeholder consultations. - Prepare technical reports, project documentation, and proposals. - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including environmental scientists, planners, and engineers. - Ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards. - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering. - Postgraduate qualification in Environmental Engineering/Sciences is an advantage. - 27 years of relevant experience in HSE consulting within Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or Tourism sectors. - Proven experience in acoustic/noise monitoring and modeling is highly preferred. - Experience in EIA/EMP, risk assessments, and compliance projects. - Proficiency in noise prediction software (SoundPLAN, CadnaA, etc.). - Familiarity with HSE standards like IFC, World Bank, OSHA, EPA, etc. - Strong technical writing and presentation skills. - Proficiency in MS Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD and environmental modeling tools. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. - Willingness to travel to project sites.
