What You’ll Be Doing...
As a Software Developer in a Quality Engineering team, you will be building solutions for various aspects of the QA process including automation frameworks, dashboards and tools to improve productivity and efficiencies of the team. You will be supporting the design, development, and implementation of AI and machine learning (ML) models working under the guidance of senior engineers. These are enriched with the complete SDLC process, while working with various stakeholders like business PoCs, foundational quality engineers, technical quality engineers and Solution Architects.
- Working with a team of quality engineers, partners like Developers, SME and Architect on test activities for enterprise level regression.
- Working on developing various Test Automation frameworks and setting up frameworks on multiple application platforms like Web, Mobile, and Desktop.
- Building reusable code and libraries for future use and Better use of AI tools and its features like Copilot for quality deliverables.
- Developing and implementing intelligent agents and LLM-driven solutions that automate and enhance operational workflows.
- Investigating customer problems referred by the technical support team.
- Creating and managing bug reports and communicating with the team.
- Building different test scenarios and acceptance tests and creating generic automation frameworks.
- Handling technical communications with Partners to understand client's systems or APIs.
- Working with deployments teams and resolving any level issues for the system.
- Setting up, maintain, and operate test automation frameworks.
- Developing CI/CD solutions using various DevSecOps tools needed to deploy and run the automation frameworks.
- Improving the overall delivery excellence by working through project dynamics.

You'll Need To Have
- Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of relevant experience.
- Experience in testing tools, QA automation frameworks, extending automation solutions using Java, Python, Shell Scripts etc.
- Proven experience with LLMs and building agentic systems using Copilot or pair programming.
- Prompt Engineering - Proven experience in crafting and refining prompts for developmental & migration activities, Knowledge of various prompting techniques and when to apply them, ability to think creatively and logically to guide AI models to a specific outcome.
- Knowledge of Databases/SQL, Devsecops Processes and tools like Jenkins, GIT etc.
- Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Test Life Cycle (STLC).
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools such as Selenium, Appium as well as API Testing
- Experience with test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Experience in software development using any of web based full stack technologies.
- Good understanding of Verizon ecosystem, business, applications & services provided to the Customers with utmost focus on Customer Experience and Quality

- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
- Experience working in Agile/SAFe teams.
- Experience in Agentic AI.
- Strong experience with engineering/building solutions for Quality Assurance.
- Ability to adopt an automation first approach and execute the automation test strategies.
- Knowledge of reusable component development and Databases/SQL.
- Collaboration skills to manage the peers, partners and other stakeholders.
- Experience with advanced ML and NLP concepts, especially in recommendation systems, conversational systems, information retrieval, and regression modeling.
