Engineering Manager

.As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-performing engineering team responsible for building innovative software solutions that improve operational efficiency, safety, and productivity. You will define technical vision, drive architectural decisions, and ensure the delivery of high-quality features across complex systems. This role offers the opportunity to influence product strategy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and directly impact both internal operations and customer-facing applications. You will mentor and grow a diverse team of engineers while balancing hands-on technical contributions with strategic leadership. Your work will span planning, execution, and operational excellence, contributing to scalable, high-performance software used across multiple industries.
Accountabilities
- Define and implement the technology vision for new software features and enhancements
- Manage engineering team outcomes, ensuring alignment with product and business goals
- Develop and maintain a long-term roadmap in collaboration with product teams
- Drive execution, launch, and operational excellence for software functionalities
- Introduce, document, and evolve development, release, and operational processes
- Hire, mentor, and grow a diverse team of engineers, providing technical guidance and career development
- Contribute hands-on to coding, feature verification, and architectural planning as needed
- Promote a strong engineering culture focused on quality, innovation, and collaboration
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of experience in Software Engineering or related domains
- 3+ years managing teams of 10+ engineers
- 5+ years building high-scale distributed systems for product-focused companies
- Expertise in agile product development, distributed systems, infrastructure, cloud computing, build tools, front-end and mobile engineering, and QA
- Strong architectural and problem-solving skills with experience defining technical requirements
- Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems and ownership of full software lifecycle
- Proven ability to hire, motivate, and promote engineers while fostering an inclusive and productive culture
- Strong individual contributor experience, with willingness to engage in hands-on coding when needed
- Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and leadership skills
