What this job involves:
As an Engineering Manager at JLL, you will drive excellence in preventive maintenance programs and asset lifecycle management while implementing cutting-edge technology solutions across multiple client locations. This strategic leadership role combines technical expertise with operational excellence, requiring you to standardize engineering practices, oversee critical environment management programs, and implement global initiatives that optimize costs and maximize asset performance. You will play a pivotal role in JLLs commitment to delivering innovative facilities management solutions while ensuring seamless service delivery and supporting our clients operational success through data-driven decision making and continuous improvement.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Lead preventive maintenance programs achieving highest standards while managing asset lifecycle costs and implementing energy conservation practices across client locations
- Support CMMS technology tool implementation (Maximo, Corrigo, SAP) and drive contract/procurement management strategies for technical services including AMC contracts
- Standardize engineering and operational procedures while leading Critical Environment Management (CEM) program implementation across the region
- Conduct technical audits, review maintenance practices of M&E contractors, and coordinate maintenance schedules and shutdowns with clients and OEMs
- Manage overall budgets for engineering services, oversee spend optimization, and drive global initiatives and best practices implementation
- Perform risk reviews and mitigation planning while managing energy management programs to reduce utility costs
- Prepare comprehensive weekly and monthly reports covering PPM, maintenance contracts, spare parts consumption, incident reports, and improvement projects.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in facilities management with focus on engineering operations
- Proven experience with CMMS tools implementation (Maximo, Corrigo, SAP) for asset management
- Strong contract and procurement management experience for technical services
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating teams across India and globally
- Demonstrated experience in asset lifecycle management and cost optimization
- Strong analytical skills with ability to create comprehensive technical reports.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in facilities management or engineering disciplines
- Experience with Critical Environment Management (CEM) programs
- Knowledge of energy management systems and sustainability practices
- Familiarity with global facilities management standards and best practices
- Experience managing multi-site operations and standardization initiatives
- Background in risk management and mitigation strategies for facility operations
- Proficiency in data accuracy management and asset tracking systems.
