Engineering Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Architectural Principles: Uphold and enforce architectural guidelines and best practices to ensure system scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• ARB Management: Oversee and maintain the Architecture Review Board (ARB), ensuring design decisions align with business and technical goals.
• Code Quality: Ensure best practices in coding, code reviews, and maintain high-quality software standards.
• Branching Strategy: Define and enforce effective branching strategies for codebase management in version control systems.
• Release Process: Manage software release cycles, CI/CD pipelines, and ensure smooth deployments.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to drive alignment on technical requirements and product goals.

  Qualifications:


• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.
• Strong experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, preferably Python, Django among others.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and DevOps practices.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and software release processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with distributed teams is a plus.
• Experience in data and ai applications is a plus
