Speridian TechnologiesLocation: BLR/TVM/KOC/MUMNotice period: Immediate joinersJob Description: AWS Solution ArchitectAWS Solution Architect Server less & IoT ApplicationsAbout the RoleWe are seeking a skilled AWS Solution Architect with strong hands-on experience in Node.js or Java, and server less application development to lead the design and deployment of scalable, secure, and high-performance IoT solutions in AWS.Architect will work closely with cross-functional teams to design modern cloud-native architectures, particularly in domains involving IoT, identity management, and multi-region systems.Key Responsibilities- Architect and implement highly available, scalable, and secure solutions using AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, etc.)- Design serverless microservices with Node.js or Java runtimes- Build and manage end-to-end solutions involving AWS IoT Core for secure device onboarding, communication, and data flow- Lead authentication and authorization strategies using AWS Cognito and custom identity federation- Design and implement multi-region deployment strategies including data replication, failover, and edge optimization- Experience designing multi-region IoT architectures, including strategies for replicating IoT Things and securely provisioning new certificates in fallback regions to ensure device connectivity and failover resilience across AWS regions.- Solid understanding of AWS IoT Core, including how device certificates are generated (either through AWS or custom CAs), how devices establish secure connections using MQTT over TLS, and how to configure and manage IoT Things, attach policies, and set up IoT Rules for routing and processing device messages to AWS services like Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB.- Develop infrastructure as code using tools like CloudFormation.- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for serverless applications- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical architecture- Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, and security assessments for AWS-based applicationsRequired Skills and Experience- 8+ years of professional experience in software architecture and development- Strong programming skills in Node.js or Java- Proven experience in designing and deploying serverless applications on AWS- Hands-on expertise with: - AWS IoT Core - AWS Cognito - Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Step Functions, S3, SNS/SQS- Solid understanding of multi-region architecture principles (latency optimization, data sovereignty, active-active/active-passive)- Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools: CloudFormation- Excellent knowledge of AWS IAM policies and securing cloud-native applications- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional (recommended)- Familiarity with event-driven architecture (EventBridge)- Knowledge of MQTT and secure IoT communication protocols- Experience with global content delivery and API edge optimization (CloudFront, Route 53)
