Engineering Manager

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Engineering Manager to build, lead, and scale a brand-new offshore development team. In this role, you will own end-to-end project delivery — from architecture, development, and testing to final release — based on requirements gathered from our onshore stakeholders. This is a high-impact opportunity to shape a new team, drive technical excellence, and partner closely with global business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing offshore engineering team from the ground up.
• Lead architecture design, technical analysis, development, testing, and delivery activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and onshore business stakeholders to drive project execution.
• Manage the full project lifecycle — from initiation to successful delivery.
• Establish platform and infrastructure support teams as needed.
• Provide technical leadership with deep expertise in Java or JavaScript ecosystems.
• Champion engineering best practices, code quality standards, and operational excellence.
• Manage project escalations, remove blockers, and maintain a healthy and productive team environment.
• Implement and continuously improve Agile/Scrum practices to enhance team efficiency.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• 15+ years of overall engineering experience, including 3+ years in a leadership/management role.
• Strong technical background in Java / JavaScript technologies.
• Demonstrated success in building and managing cross-functional, globally distributed teams.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies, and DevOps principles.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to build strong engineering cultures focused on innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
