Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Turning Operator to operate lathe machines for machining metal components as per engineering drawings and production standards. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of precision tools and machine operations. Key Responsibilities: Operate conventional or lathe machines to perform turning operations on metal components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, work orders, and job specifications. Set up machines, load materials, and monitor machine operations. Measure and inspect finished components using gauges, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Ensure components are produced within specified tolerances and quality standards. Perform regular machine maintenance and cleaning. Maintain records of production and quality checks. Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment. Requirements: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or relevant field. 2–3 years of experience in operating lathe/turning machines. Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments.
