Job Description

Job Description: 1. Ensuring co-ordination with QC, SCG & Supplier to ensure release of QAP & QCP document 2. Study of BoM, drawings, QAR, Annexures, SOR, PO to ensure following: a) Identifying coating/painting/special process requirement in the package b) Identifying FIM items, documentation & Issue to suppliers on time c) STE, Tools, Patterns, Jigs & Fix requirement analysis, existing inventory availability, Physical condition verification, refurbishment / new ordering and availability for production d) Identifying Item Level Qualification & Endurance Testing wherever applicable and planning for the same 3. Co-ordinate with supplier to ensure progress by tracking the following: a) Co-ordinate with Design & DRM team and ensure access to all drawings to supplier b) Ordering completion of bought outs by supplier if any c) Raw material order following all stages as per QCP d) Breaking complete manufacturing cycle into stages like ordering, manufacturing, coating, painting, surface treatment, assembly, testing, qualification and close monitoring of last leaf level items as per these stages with suppliers. e) Package receipt forecasting reporting to management f) Resolving supplier queries in co-ordination with Design & QC team. This may include obsolescence handling, deviation handling, providing clarifications, supporting for setting up special processes, testing methodology etc.
