Job Description Job Title: Dy. Manager -Sales Department: Sales Summary: Responsible for developing and maintaining business with 4W & 2W OEMs and exhaust system suppliers. The role focuses on business development, customer relationship management, and coordination of technical and commercial activities related to automotive catalysts. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain business relationships with 4W & 2 W OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers. Identify new business opportunities and prepare business plans to acquire new customers. Coordinate with internal departments (Engineering, Quality, Production, R&D) to support customer requirements and project execution. Review customer specifications and coordinate trials, testing, and approvals related to BS6 emission norms and the future norms if applicable. Manage pricing, quotations, and cost estimation activities in coordination with the management. Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and drive actions for improvement. Support VAVE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) activities and R&D initiatives with customers. Participate in customer and supplier meetings, technical reviews, and business discussions. Prepare and share weekly/monthly sales performance reports with management. Monitor market trends and competitor activities in the 4W segment and provide feedback to management. Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns related to quality, delivery, or service. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Automotive) or equivalent. 8–12 years of experience in automotive sales, preferably handling 4W and 2W OEM accounts or exhaust system suppliers. Strong understanding of BS6 regulations and future regulations, catalyst technology, and automotive components. Good communication and presentation skills. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Willingness to travel frequently for customer meetings and reviews. Work Environment: Primarily office-based with regular visits to OEM and supplier locations. Travel may be required as per business needs.
