Job Description

GreyOrange is seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that drive our advanced robotics and automation systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs and enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define software requirements and specifications.
Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for robotics and automation applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues in a timely manner, ensuring continuous improvement of the software development process.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure that GreyOrange remains at the forefront of innovation.
Document software designs, development processes, and user manuals as needed.

Skills And Tools Required

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python.
Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile or Scrum.
Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Knowledge of software testing frameworks and tools to ensure software quality.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.
Understanding of robotic systems and automation technologies is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
