Develops, prepares, and recommends budget for server platforms, enterprise storage, and backup technologies (on-prem and cloud). Partners with IT Risk Management to ensure compliance, security, and that disaster recovery and backup programs (Commvault) are in place and effective. Partners with IT Architecture to design and implement appropriate compute and storage solutions that meet business needs and enable new capabilities. Manages large-scale compute & storage infrastructure projects to deliver on time, on budget, and in scope. Defines and tracks KPIs, SLAs, and dashboards for system availability, capacity, and performance using tools like Grafana and Prometheus. Develops and executes strategies to modernize compute & storage infrastructure through automation, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible), and DevOps pipelines (GitHub). Selects and manages storage/backup vendors and service providers for maximum benefit to the company.
