Engineer - Sales (Pune & Delhi)

Role & responsibilities

• Generate new enquiries through field visits to customers and industrial sites.
• Follow up diligently on all customer enquiries to convert leads into opportunities.
• Update enquiries, customer interactions, and progress status in the

  Sales Management System (CRM)

  in a timely and accurate manner.
• Coordinate with the Pre-Sales/Technical department to obtain accurate costing and prepare customized offers/quotations based on customer requirements.
• Follow up on submitted offers and provide any technical clarifications needed to close the deal.
• Arrange and attend meetings with customers, along with senior management or technical staff, when required.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close orders while ensuring alignment with company policies.
• Submit lost business reports in the prescribed format, analyzing reasons for order loss and suggesting corrective measures.
• Prepare and submit structured

  visit reports

  after every customer visit or meeting.
• Follow up for sales-related payments and coordinate with the finance/commercial team to ensure timely collections.
• Provide on-field support to the

  Service Team

  for critical customer issues when needed.
• Actively participate in promotional events like

  exhibitions, seminars, trade shows

  , and technical webinars.
• Monitor and report

  competitive activities

  , pricing, and market trends to management.
• Demonstrate willingness to travel frequently to customer locations, industrial clusters, and participate in industry events.
• Handle technical and sales aspects related to

  CNC Machines

  and

  Power Electronics

  , offering expert advice and solutions tailored to customer applications.
• Develop strong product knowledge in the domain of CNC automation, drives, inverters, servo systems, and related technologies.
• Collaborate with internal technical teams for complex project requirements involving

  industrial automation and motion control systems

  .

Preferred candidate profile

- Good level of leadership, teamwork and vocabulary skills.

- IT Knowledge in terms of Software's, Word, Excel, e-mail.

- Good Presentation Skills

- Should have 3 years to 5 Years of Experience

- Awareness for new technologies and new product concepts.
