Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Supervise erection, installation, testing, and commissioning of
132/33kV substations
(AIS/GIS).
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely project execution.
Review and interpret electrical drawings, SLDs, and layout plans.
Ensure compliance with
MSETCL/MSEDCL
standards and safety protocols.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks for transformers, switchgear, CT/PT, breakers, and control panels.
Prepare daily progress reports (DPR), material reconciliation, and site documentation.
Liaise with client engineers and consultants for approvals and inspections.
Monitor manpower, material, and equipment utilization at site.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
3 to 7 years
of experience in substation projects (132kV/33kV or above).
Hands-on experience in
HT equipment installation
, cable laying, and testing and EHV Site Execution Substation.
Familiarity with
IS/IEC standards
, safety norms, and electrical codes.

Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of
AutoCAD
, MS Office, and testing instruments.
Strong communication and team coordination skills.
Ability to handle site independently under pressure.
Experience working with
state utilities (MSETCL/MSEDCL)
and in Substation/TL is a plus.
