• install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, fixtures, and control devices according to relevant codes and standards.
• Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform troubleshooting using specialized test equipment and hand tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to plan installations and repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance to minimize system downtime and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaborate with engineers, maintenance crews, and management to complete projects efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical work adheres to national and local electrical codes and company safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience as a licensed electrician, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and regulations.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical capability to work in varied environments including confined spaces and at heights, if required.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Valid electrician license or certification as required by local or national regulatory authorities.
• Knowledge of relevant building, fire, and safety codes.

Preferred

• Experience with chemical plants or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with computerized electrical testing and reporting tools.
