Engineer - Quality Assurance

We are a leading manufacturer of plastic injection-molded components, specializing in custom molding solutions. As an IATF-certified company, we are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Engineer will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet customer specifications and industry standards. The ideal candidate will focus on maintaining quality systems, analyzing defects, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality inspections and audits during various stages of production.
• Monitor adherence to quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and customer-specific requirements.
• Analyze internal rejection trends and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with the production and design teams to resolve quality-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, FMEAs, and inspection reports.
• Handle customer complaints, ensuring timely investigation and resolution.
• Conduct training sessions for shopfloor employees on quality practices and standards.
• Support new product development (NPD) processes by validating quality requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a plastic injection molding environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, 5 Why Analysis, Fishbone Diagram, and SPC.
• Familiarity with measuring instruments like Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Profile Projectors, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Certification in Six Sigma, Quality Management, or similar (preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹230,807.58 - ₹400,000.00 per year
