Engineer - Quality Assurance

The Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the software meets established standards and end-user requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and create automated test cases, implement test scripts, and analyze the results to ensure high-quality software delivery. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks for various applications. You will implement test automation strategies and processes to achieve optimal test coverage. Additionally, you should act as the first level of debugging for the dev team and internal customers, demonstrating a sense of ownership and proactiveness. You will be involved in Agile sprints from the design phase itself and show eagerness to work in various in-house R&D activities. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Ideally, you will have 0-2 years of work experience, demonstrating problem-solving skills. Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Java or Python is required. Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Appium, Cucumber, or Pytest is highly desirable. You should possess analytical skills, be a problem solver with attention to detail, and have an inclination towards breaking the rules and making exceptions in the Product.,
