We are seeking an experienced and proactive Shift Production Supervisor to oversee our injection molding operations and ensure seamless production activities. Job Summary: The Shift Production Supervisor will manage and monitor daily production operations during their assigned shift, ensuring targets for quality, efficiency, and safety are met. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in injection molding and a strong ability to lead and motivate shopfloor teams. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee production activities during the assigned shift to meet daily and monthly targets. Monitor machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal utilization of equipment. Supervise shopfloor employees, providing guidance and resolving any on-site challenges. Conduct periodic quality checks to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Maintain production records, including shift reports, production logs, and downtime analysis. Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs and preventive maintenance. Train and develop shopfloor personnel to improve skill levels and efficiency. Qualifications: Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Plastics Engineering or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. In-depth knowledge of injection molding processes, tools, and equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle production-related challenges efficiently. Familiarity with production planning tools and techniques. Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities. Willingness to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
