Job Description

Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on architectural and structural drawings. Conduct quantity take-offs and cost estimation for civil, structural, and finishing works. Evaluate tenders, prepare comparative statements, and assist in contract negotiations. Prepare budgets, cash flow statements, and cost planning for ongoing projects. Monitor project costs and ensure that construction projects are completed within approved budgets. Validate and certify subcontractor/vendor bills and final settlements. Manage cost-related variations, claims, and changes in scope. Conduct site visits for measurements, verification, and progress tracking. Reconcile material usage and manage inventory cost reports. Assist in procurement planning and coordination with purchase and site teams. Prepare periodic MIS, cost reports, and forecasting reports. Ensure compliance with statutory norms and contract terms. Required Skills & Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Diploma in Civil Engineering with QS specialization. 3+ years of experience in civil construction projects (residential, commercial, industrial). Strong understanding of construction techniques and project execution cycles. Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., Candy, CostX, or similar). Good knowledge of contracts, rate analysis, and local market rates. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with project and procurement teams.
