Engineer- QA (Automation)

• Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the QA Lead, development partners, and business IT teams to facilitate communication and collaboration between groups.

• Test Case Management: Collaborate with the team to ensure the required test conditions are ready for the execution as per the estimated timeline.

• Impact Analysis: Quickly identify impacts and clear communication to the senior members for the effort required to enhance the existing solution timelines for affected areas.

• Programming and Scripting: Utilize your knowledge of programming and scripting languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Groovy) to develop and maintain test automation scripts and ensure readiness along with the required coverage.

• CI/CD Pipeline Management: Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development process from testing to deployment.

• QA Best Practices: Follow and maintain established QA best practices.

• Infrastructure Management

  : Manage the infrastructure that supports software operations, including servers.

• Continuous Learning and Documentation: Demonstrate strong abilities to rapidly learn and apply new technological concepts. Document processes and systems to ensure they are well-understood and maintainable by others.

• Reporting: Provide test status reports, including build deployment status, smoke, and regression status.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 1 to 5 years of hands on Automation experience is required.
• Experience with GIT/GitLab/SVN, Jenkins, and both Windows and Unix commands, is good to have.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with Agile methodology is preferred.
