Senior Quality Engineer - Certinia

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Engineer -Certinia with 5+ years of expertise in testing Certinia (formerly FinancialForce) solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of financial and PSA business processes, excellent QA methodologies, and hands-on experience in automated and manual testing of Salesforce and Certinia applications.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and compliance of Certinia modules through rigorous testing and validation, contributing to high-quality product releases and a seamless user experience.

As aSenior Quality Engineer-Certinia, you ll partner with Salesforce, PSA Developers, Administrators, and Revenue Operations Analysts to ensure the highest quality of our Go-to-Market systems. Successful candidates have experience administering Salesforce.com and Certinia and have eagle-eye attention to detail and experience with ensuring Salesforce.com and Certinia configuration and customisations are implemented correctly. We work with strict deadlines, so strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional time management and task execution skills are key.

This position will report to the Manager GTM Systems and will be based in our Pune, India, Procore office. We re looking for candidates to join us immediately.

What you ll do:

• Design and lead end-to-end testing strategies for Certinia PSA, FFA, Revenue Management, Billing Central, and other key modules.




• Drive test planning, execution, and automation for Salesforce-native solutions integrated with Certinia.




• automated test suite




• Perform functional, regression, integration, API, UAT, and performance testing.




• Collaborate with product managers, developers, business analysts, and DevOps to define acceptance criteria and test coverage.




• Ensure financial process accuracy in areas like time tracking, expense reporting, billing, GL/postings, and project accounting.




• Understand and account for the intricacies and interdependencies of Salesforce processes and customisations when verifying changes.




• Implement automated testing integrated into our DevOps lifecycle -- design, develop and maintain test automation scripts.




• Keep up-to-date on quality engineering and Salesforce industry best practices and trends to drive ongoing improvements to Procore s Salesforce.com platform.




• Manage defect tracking, triage, and resolution using Jira




• Participate in release planning, impact analysis, and sign-off for production deployments.




• Contribute to the evolution of QA best practices, frameworks, documentation, and team mentoring.

What we re looking for:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.




• 5-7+ years of experience in quality engineering. including 4+ years of focused testing in Certinia / FinancialForce environments, on functional and regression testing of Go-to-Market systems ( Salesforce.com ) and related integrations.




• Knowledge of quality methodologies, including functional, performance, regression, black-box, and white-box testing.




• Solid understanding of test automation technologies (ACCELQ, Selenium WebDriver API, XPath, JUnit).




• Experience implementing test scripts with XRay is a strong plus.




• Innovative problem solver with top-notch troubleshooting skills.




• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.




• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, a high degree of motivation, and deadline-driven productivity.




• Coding experience with Java, JavaScript, Ruby, or Python and the ability to create sophisticated test automation is a plus.




• Hands-on knowledge and understanding of DevOps tools and technologies, such as GIT and experience with Salesforce release, pipeline management, and CI/CD processes, is a plus.




• Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications are a strong plus.
