Engineer - Design & Estimation

The position plays a key role in promoting, specifying and delivering our range of premium aluminium systems for windows, doors and façades. The role involves close collaboration with architects, consultants, fabricators and developers to drive specifications, provide technical support and ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support

• Provide system solutions based on project requirements (performance, aesthetics, sustainability).
• Support clients with drawings, calculations and compliance documents.
• Coordinate with the design team for bespoke/customized solutions.

Specification Builder

• Identify and engage with architects, consultants, developers and contractors to promote fenestration systems.
• Drive system specification into projects at the design and tender stage.
• Develop and maintain a strong project pipeline.

Project & Partner Coordination

• Liaise with approved fabricators and installers to ensure system integrity and proper execution.
• Monitor project timelines and ensure alignment between stakeholders.
• Address technical and commercial queries during the project lifecycle.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

• Track competitor activity, pricing trends and market opportunities.
• Provide regular reporting on project pipeline, forecasts and market development.

Brand & Customer Engagement

• Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions and technical seminars.
• Ensure strong customer experience through proactive engagement and after-sales support.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture / Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Business Management (with technical sales exposure).

Experience:

• 10 – 15 years of experience in the façade, fenestration or building materials industry.
• Prior experience with aluminium systems company is highly desirable.

Technical Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of aluminium system design, fabrication and installation.
• Knowledge of performance standards (wind load, water tightness, acoustic & thermal insulation).
• Must be familiar with AutoCAD/technical drawings.

Skills:

• Excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive results in a competitive environment.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to negotiate and close deals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
