Energy Commodity Trading and Risk Management - SME

As a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with solid experience in Commodity Trading and Risk Management, you will work as a Solution Architect, Sales Support & (Regional) Product Management in the Energy Solutions & Energy Market Data Business. The Energy Trading, Risk & Operations group aims to assist gas & power, pipeline, energy trading, and industrial consumers in managing various aspects such as physical & financial trading, risk/control, credit management, asset optimization, fuels management, power operations, gas operations, emissions compliance, and finance through a comprehensive solution. The Market Map group complements this by providing data management, enhanced analytics, and charting services across different regions. **Position Responsibilities:** - Act as a subject matter expert covering Solution Architecture, Sales Support, and (Regional) Product Management - Collaborate with product management leaders to create solutions with affiliated product lines - Assist in creating market packages and providing input for core product development - Work as sales support and pre-sales across Asia - Engage in early project phases as a senior subject matter expert **Product Focus:** - Understand the role of an ETRM vendor and Data Provider in relevant markets - Prioritize customer needs and articulate them to the product management function - Work with peers to create market packages and deployment methods - Possess hands-on knowledge of the software product - Model customer/industry scenarios, recommend best practices, and enhance the product based on feedback **Industry Focus:** - Strong knowledge of international and Asian energy and commodity markets - Stay updated on market trends, regulatory environment, trading issues, and utilities/trading firms operations in Asia - Possess a decent IT background and industry contacts - Document industry trends, market initiatives, and customer requirements at a detailed level **Marketing Focus:** - Support in producing key Asia marketing collateral including product marketing, sales collateral, press releases, and white papers - Collaborate with Marketing on promotions for data products in all regions - Coordinate with marketing for press releases, industry events, and other promotions **Sales Orientation:** - Assist in developing a sales strategy regionally and functionally - Support pre-sales by enhancing the product demo - Accompany the sales team on key sales calls/product demos to contribute industry and product knowledge - Proactively monitor the sales process and propose improvements **Required Skills and Experience:** - Industry: Banking/Financial - Role: Business Analyst - Key Skills: Energy Commodity Trading and Risk Management, Commodity Trading, Commodity Trading Subject Matter Expert - Education: B.Sc/B.Com/M.Sc/MCA/B.E/B.Tech If you are interested in this opportunity, please reach out to jobs@augustainfotech.com for further details.,
