Job Description

An Embedded Safety Engineer with 7–8 years of experience in Functional Safety (IEC 61508), who has hands-on experience with VectorCAST, Coverity, MISRA, SIL3 documentation, safety testing, and TÜV processes

7-8 years of experience in embedded SW development and SW safety assessment as per IEC61508

Dynamic code analysis - Use of Vector CAST tool to do unit test and function call test for firmware.
Generate unit testing report for TUV review.
Prepare Software Detailed Design (SDD) specification and other software safety documents for SIL 3 certification.
Code review for compliance with IEC 61508 coding guidelines
MISRA C for C/C++)
Static code analysis using Coverity
Prepare Software Safety Requirements Specification (SSRS).
Develop Software FMEA
Exp. in Unit testing with coverage metrics, Integration and system testing
Exp. in Fault injection and robustness testing as well as Regression testing
Exp. in Qualification of compilers, static analyzers, and test tools (Coverity, VectorCast, Complier CCS, Compiler IAR)
