Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:
• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
• Experience:
• 5–20 years of experience in Electronics (preferably Power Electronics/ Consumer Electronics / Automotive Electronics).
• Technical Skills:
• Circuit Design & Analysis — Proficient in analog and digital circuit design, schematic creation, simulation, and validation.
• PCB Design — Experience with multi-layer PCB design, EMI/EMC compliance etc.
• Power Management — Knowledge of AC/DC Voltage/Current Handling, DC/DC & AC/DC converters and power product design techniques.
• Documentation — Skilled in BOM creation, hardware documentation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems from concept to production.
• Create detailed schematics, PCB layouts, and component selection based on project requirements.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for seamless system integration.
• Perform hardware testing, validation, and troubleshooting using lab equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.).
• Optimize power consumption and ensure signal integrity and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Develop and maintain BOMs, design documentation, and revision control using PLM/ERP tools.
• Implement Design for Manufacturing /Design for Testing practices to improve manufacturability and testing efficiency.
• Conduct root-cause analysis of hardware failures and implement corrective actions.
• Evaluate new technologies and components to improve product performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory certifications (CE, FCC, IEC, RoHS, UL).
• Support prototype builds and collaborate with suppliers and production teams.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical inputs for continuous improvement.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
