Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Hardware Design Engineer based in Bengaluru. The Hardware Design Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic hardware and circuits. The role involves working on hardware architecture, implementing innovative solutions for embedded systems, and creating detailed technical documentation. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored hardware solutions that meet specific requirements, ensuring adherence to quality and design standards.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field

Minimum of 2 years of experience in electronic hardware design

Expertise in hardware design tools such as Allegro/ Altium Designer/KiCAD or similar programs

Strong knowledge of electronic components and their characteristics

Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout design

Experience with microcontrollers, power supply design, and communication interfaces (UART, SPI, PC, USB, Ethernet).

Hands-on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, multimeter, power analyzer).

Familiarity with PCB layout principles, signal integrity, and design for manufacturability (DFM).

Good understanding of embedded system architecture.

Self-motivated and ability to work independently and in teams

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Bonus skills and experience:

Experience with high-speed digital design, FPGA design, or embedded system design

Experience with EMC/EMI and other regulatory compliance requirements

Experience with Signal Integrity analysis and simulation using tools such as Hyperlynx/Sigrity
