Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

As an Industrial Embedded Systems Engineer, your role involves designing and testing industrial embedded systems using microcontrollers and memories. You will develop battery backup systems, modular embedded designs, and work with various communication interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, RS485, SDI12, Ethernet, wireless modules, and modems. Your responsibilities will include integrating sensors, conducting robust circuit/software testing and debugging, designing system schematics, multilayer PCB layouts, and validation testing. You will also manage BOM, documentation, and the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Additionally, you will design power systems with surge protection and execute test procedures to verify performance. Key Responsibilities: - Design and test industrial embedded systems using microcontrollers and memories - Develop battery backup systems and modular embedded designs - Work with communication interfaces like SPI, I2C, UART, RS485, SDI12, Ethernet, wireless modules, and modems - Integrate various sensors and ensure robust circuit/software testing and debugging - Design system schematics, multilayer PCB layouts, and conduct validation testing - Manage BOM, documentation, and product lifecycle - Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements - Design power systems with surge protection and execute test procedures to verify performance Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in embedded system design, testing, and debugging - Proficiency in communication protocols and C libraries for diagnostics/testing - Knowledge of EMI/EMC, surge protection, and analog/digital interfaces (420mA, RS-232, RS-485, Modbus) - Familiarity with IoT communication protocols - In-depth understanding of microcontrollers, firmware integration, and design tools Please note that the job type for this position is Full-time, Permanent.
