Job Description

Industry & Sector:

Building services and infrastructure—specialising in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for commercial, residential and industrial construction projects across India. We deliver end-to-end ELV engineering, installation and commissioning for security, life-safety and communication systems.

Primary Title:

ELV Site Engineer

Location & Workplace:

India — On-site role across project locations. Join a mid-to-large scale contracting environment focused on high-quality delivery and timely project handovers.Role & Responsibilities

Lead on-site delivery of ELV packages (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, PA/BGM, structured cabling), ensuring installation meets design, safety and contract specifications.
Execute testing, commissioning and handover activities (FAT/SAT/O&M documentation) and resolve punch-list items to achieve client acceptance.
Coordinate daily with project stakeholders—MEP leads, civil teams, architects, vendors and subcontractors—to manage interfaces and minimise rework.
Review drawings and BOQs, produce site-level installation plans, cable schedules and as-built drawings using AutoCAD, and implement QA/QC checkpoints.
Manage material verification, receive & inspect site deliveries, and oversee vendor/subcontractor performance and compliance to specs.
Maintain site records, progress reports, risk registers and ensure adherence to HSE requirements and project timelines.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven experience on ELV systems delivery—CCTV, access control, and fire alarm.
Strong competence in testing and commissioning procedures for ELV systems.
Hands-on experience with structured cabling (Cat6, Cat6A, fiber optics) and cable management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for markups and as-built drawing preparation.
Knowledge of system integration with BMS and interoperability protocols (BACnet/Modbus) preferred.
Familiarity with FAT/SAT documentation, O&M manuals and client handover processes.

Preferred

Experience with IP video management systems and VMS platforms.
Exposure to access control credentialing and biometric systems.
Experience in quality assurance processes and third-party inspection coordination.
