Job Title:

Design Head - ELV & Mechanical

Position Overview

:We are looking for a senior-level Design Head ELV & Mechanical to lead end-to-end design strategy, engineering excellence, and design governance for ELV systems and Mechanical services across complex infrastructure projects. The role ensures technical compliance, innovation, value engineering, and seamless coordination with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern design for ELV systems including Fire Alarm, PA/VA, CCTV, Access Control, BMS, Networking, and Integrated Security.
  • Head Mechanical design including HVAC systems, ventilation, smoke management, pumps, plumbing coordination, and life safety interfaces.
  • Define design standards, specifications, and best practices aligned with NFPA /IS/NBC/ASHRAE codes.
  • Oversee preparation and approval of concept designs, detailed engineering, SLDs, layouts, schematics, and BOQs.
  • Drive value engineering, optimization, and cost-effective design solutions.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, project teams, OEMs, and authorities.
  • Review tender documents, RFPs, and provide technical leadership during pre-sales and bid stages.
  • Ensure smooth design-to-execution handover and support commissioning teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop design engineers and BIM teams.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical /Electrical / Electronics /Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Master's degree or specialized certifications in HVAC / Fire /ELV systems will be an added advantage.

Skills & Experience

  • 10-15 years of experience in MEP / ELV system design, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in ELV systems and Mechanical services integration.
  • Excellent command over design codes, standards, and authority approval processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and design coordination tools.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
