Electronic Data Interchange Developer

As an ideal candidate for this role, you should have a strong knowledge of EDI standards, including ANSI X12, EDIFACT, XML, and AS2. You should be proficient in EDI mapping and translation tools such as Sterling Integrator 5.2.6 or similar software. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining EDI maps, translation rules, and processes to facilitate electronic data exchange with external trading partners. Key Responsibilities: - Work with protocols like AS2, SFTP, FTP, OFTP2, VAN, and Mailbox - Understand business processes in supply chain, logistics, or retail domains - Familiarity with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite and their integration with EDI - Monitor and troubleshoot EDI transactions to ensure smooth information flow - Create and maintain documentation for EDI processes and procedures - Coordinate with external trading partners for onboarding, testing, and issue resolution - Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather business requirements and ensure compliance with EDI standards - Assist in managing EDI projects, including upgrades, implementations, and enhancements Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of EDI standards and mapping tools - Hands-on experience with EDI protocols and business workflows - Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration with EDI - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders - Project management skills to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion This job entails working closely with various teams and external partners to ensure efficient EDI processes and compliance with industry standards.
