Electrical Technician

At LAT Aerospace, we’re building a clean-sheet Short Take-off and Landing (STOL) aircraft to transform regional air mobility in India. We’re looking for an Electrical Technician to support the build, integration, and validation of our high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems—from powertrain harnesses to control and instrumentation wiring.

What you’ll do

• Build and route wiring harnesses and cable assemblies for aircraft subsystems (power electronics, avionics, propulsion).
• Support assembly, troubleshooting, and validation of electrical systems across ground test rigs and flying hardware.
• Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and connector layouts to ensure high-reliability builds.
• Perform continuity checks, insulation resistance testing, and voltage verification.
• Crimp, solder, and assemble electrical connectors (including MIL-spec types) with precision and repeatability.
• Work with engineers to identify faults, document issues, and iterate rapidly on design changes.
• Maintain inventory of connectors, cables, and tools; ensure workspace readiness for high-mix prototyping.

What we're looking for

• Experience working with electrical systems in aerospace, EVs, robotics, or related domains.
• Familiarity with both low-voltage signal wiring and high-voltage power wiring (up to 800V).
• Skilled in handling tools like crimpers, multimeters, soldering irons, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and follow build instructions with minimal supervision.
• Bonus: experience with aircraft electrical standards (e.g., MIL-DTL-38999, AS50881) or high-voltage safety practices.
