Electrical Supervisor

Key Responsibilities: ·        Supervision and Coordination: Leading and directing a team of electricians, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed efficiently and safely.  ·        Electrical System Management: Overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including equipment like motors, generators, and control systems.  ·        Safety Compliance: Ensuring all electrical work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe working environment.  ·        Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identifying and resolving electrical issues, malfunctions, and equipment failures, often requiring quick thinking and technical expertise.  ·        Project Management: Planning and scheduling electrical work for projects, managing resources, and adhering to project deadlines and budgets.  ·        Training and Mentoring: Providing guidance and training to team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge in electrical work.  ·        Documentation: Maintaining records of electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring accurate documentation of all work.  ·        Collaboration: Working with other departments, such as engineering and maintenance, to ensure smooth project execution and efficient operations.  ·        Budget Management: Monitoring and managing electrical project budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.  ·        Inventory Management: Overseeing the purchasing and maintenance of electrical equipment and supplies.  Qualifications: ·        Education: A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field is often required.  ·        Experience: Significant experience (often 4+ years) in electrical systems installation, maintenance, and repair is essential.  ·        Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including components, wiring, and safety regulations.  ·        Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, manage resources, and make decisions.  ·        Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for effective collaboration and training.  ·        Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze and resolve complex electrical issues.  ·        Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations is essential.
