Coordinate with the mechanical design engineer to update and revise drawings based on design changes or feedback. Maintain drawing records and ensure proper file management and version control. Generate DXF files and cut lists for CNC and laser cutting machines. Assist in resolving any design or fabrication issues during the production process. Ensure that all drawings meet industry and company standards in terms of accuracy, format, and presentation. Optimize designs to minimize material waste and improve production efficiency. Requirements: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proficient in SolidWorks (especially sheet metal module). Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication , material types, bend allowances, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings. The role includes implementing EHS protocols, conducting audits and training, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving a safety-first culture across the organization. 1. Key Responsibilities: A. Environment, Health & Safety Compliance Implement and monitor EHS policies and procedures in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste and compliance with environmental norms. Conduct routine inspections and audits in factory and at sites to ensure environmental safety standards are met. Maintain records of air, water, noise, and waste parameters as per pollution control board standards. B. Health & Safety Management Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments (HIRA), and job safety analysis (JSA). Organize and lead safety induction programs, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers and staff. Monitor workplace and site activities to ensure adherence to safety protocols, including PPE usage, safe lifting, and electrical safety practices. Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and recommend preventive measures. Manage first aid resources and emergency response preparedness on factory and project sites. C. Documentation & Reporting Maintain up-to-date safety documentation including accident/incident reports, inspection checklists, safety registers, and audit reports. Coordination & Communication Coordinate with internal teams such as Production, Maintenance, HR, and Project Execution to implement EHS initiatives. Liaise with external agencies, safety auditors, and client representatives during inspections and audits. Ensure safety signages, markings, and awareness boards are placed appropriately at workplace and site areas. 2. Candidate Requirements: Education: Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial) + Certification in Industrial Safety / Fire & Safety / Environment Management preferred. Experience: 1 to 4 years in EHS roles in a manufacturing, electrical, or engineering setup.
