Job Description: We are seeking a qualified Electrical / MEP Engineer to oversee and manage electrical and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works in construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems including LV & MV panels, wiring, lighting, earthing, and other services. This role ensures compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and timely execution as per project schedules. Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute electrical and MEP works at construction sites in coordination with project managers and consultants. Review electrical and MEP drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs. Supervise installation of internal and external electrical systems: cabling, conduits, panels, transformers, earthing, lighting, fire alarm, and other services. Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors, and procurement teams for timely supply and installation of materials and equipment. Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to safety and technical standards. Monitor and report on progress of electrical work and raise flags in case of delays or issues. Ensure proper documentation of electrical works including drawings, approvals, test reports, and compliance records. Liaise with civil and mechanical teams to ensure coordinated execution of MEP works. Participate in testing and commissioning activities for all electrical installations. Ensure compliance with local codes, standards (e.g. IS, IEC, NBC), and statutory requirements. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 3–8 years of relevant experience in electrical and MEP works in construction projects (buildings, infrastructure, or industrial). Strong understanding of construction drawings, load calculations, and electrical design. Hands-on experience with site execution, installation, and commissioning. Familiarity with project management tools and MS Office. Good communication and coordination skills. Knowledge of safety protocols and electrical safety.
