Job Title: Electrical Site Engineer
Location: Project Site – SIVOKIndustry: Infrastructure / Tunnel Engineering.Experience:- minimum 3 years(in Railway or Highway Tunnel)Employment Type: Full-Time---Job Role / Responsibilities:1. Site Supervision:Supervise all electrical installation activities at the site including power distribution, lighting, earthing, cable laying, panel installation, etc.Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements.2. Planning & Coordination:Prepare daily/weekly work schedules and allocate tasks to site teams.Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and other teams to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth execution.Manage materials, manpower, and site logistics efficiently.3. Installation & Testing:Oversee installation and commissioning of electrical systems and equipment.Conduct continuity, insulation, and other tests as per project specifications.Ensure proper calibration and functionality of tunnel-related electrical components such as lighting, SCADA interfaces, and ventilation systems.4. Quality Assurance:Conduct quality checks and inspections at various stages.Maintain site QA/QC documentation and reports.Raise RFI (Request for Inspection) and coordinate with quality inspectors or consultants.5. Health & Safety Compliance:Enforce strict adherence to electrical safety protocols and site safety rules.Identify and mitigate electrical hazards during execution.6. Documentation & Reporting:Maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records, and installation checklists.Assist in preparing as-built drawings and final project documentation.---Key Skills Required:Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.Knowledge of tunnel systems like emergency lighting, UPS, fans, and cable trays.Familiar with electrical codes (IEC/IS) and site safety standards.Strong communication and coordination skills.Problem-solving and decision-making ability under field conditions.---Qualifications:B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.3+ years of site experience in infrastructure/tunnel/metro/highway projects.Familiarity with tunnel SCADA, PLC, and LV systems is a plus.
