Electrical Field Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Field Electrical Engineer to handle installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment at client sites. The role involves customer interaction, technical support, and ensuring safe, efficient project execution as per industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, test, and commission electrical systems (UPS, solar, power distribution panels, transformers, etc.).
• Conduct site surveys and prepare technical reports.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment at client locations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedule.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and vendors for smooth execution.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
• Prepare service reports, work completion notes, and maintain proper documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients during and after project execution.
• Assist sales/BD team with technical inputs during pre-sales or tendering, if required.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• Experience: 1–5 years (field experience in UPS, power systems, solar, or industrial automation preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and safety practices.
• Hands-on experience with electrical testing instruments (multimeter, clamp meter, insulation tester, etc.).
• Willingness to travel frequently to client sites.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Attributes:

• Experience in UPS, batteries, solar power, or power conditioning systems.
• Knowledge of PLC, drives, or thermal solutions is an added advantage.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Flexibility to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
