Job Title: electrical cum mechanical engineer
Location: Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, India
Experience Required: 5 – 7 years of hands on experience in a Spirits, Distillery, Brewery, or High-Speed Bottling Plant.
• Develop and execute comprehensive PPM schedules for both mechanical and electrical assets, focusing on bottling line.
• Assist the technical team in troubleshooting and rapid restoration of complex breakdowns involving integrated mechanical, electrical, and automation systems and to do preventive maintenance.
• Oversee the maintenance of mechanical equipment used in distillation, blending, and processing areas, including pumps, agitators, heat exchangers, cooling towers, and pneumatic systems compressors and lifts.
• Ensure the optimal performance of high-speed bottling and packaging machinery, including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, and carton/case packers.
• Ensure calibration and functionality of field instrumentation like flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature gauges, and level sensors, which are critical to product quality and process control.
• Assist in the planning, budgeting, vendor selection, and commissioning of new plant machinery, bottling lines, or utility upgrades.
• Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems comply with the local safety standards.
