Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Position: Electrical Engineer Experience Required: Minimum 5 to 18 years Technical Skills: a. Proficient in MS Office b. Proficient in AutoCAD c. Experience with lighting design software (e.g., Chamlite, Optiwin, Luxicon, etc.) d. Familiarity with power system study software (ETAP preferred) e. Experience with heat tracing calculation software (preferable) f. Familiarity with document control systems (preferable) g. Basic knowledge of 3D design software tools (preferable) Roles and Responsibilities: a. Ability to read and understand project specifications and scope of work b. Familiar with relevant international standards c. Able to read tender documents and attend pre-bid meetings d. Capable of preparing and reviewing FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) documents e. Skilled in preparing/reviewing design basis documents, equipment specifications, data sheets, bid evaluations, and procurement documents f. Experienced in project estimation and bidding g. Proficient in preparing and checking: HT and LT cable sizing and cable schedules Load lists and equipment lists Single line diagrams and schematics Control and indication schedules Lighting calculations and lighting distribution schedules Loop diagrams, block diagrams, interconnection diagrams Equipment data sheets and I/O lists h. Ability to lead engineering and design teams i. Capable of reviewing 3D models in Navisworks j. Strong problem-solving skills for both inter-discipline and intra-discipline coordination k.
