Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer to oversee the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. The ideal candidate will ensure that electrical systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, minimizing downtime and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on electrical systems and equipment. Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical faults using tools like multimeters, insulation testers, etc. Plan and carry out preventive maintenance schedules to minimize equipment breakdowns. Maintain and update maintenance logs, work orders, and technical documentation. Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company procedures. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment. Monitor energy consumption and suggest ways to improve energy efficiency. Coordinate with other departments for shutdowns, upgrades, and system modifications. Maintain inventory of electrical components and spare parts. Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff. Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance (experience in [industry] is a plus). Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, control panels, and PLCs. Familiar with maintenance management systems (CMMS). Understanding of safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 70E). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred Skills:Experience with automation systems and industrial control panels. Hands-on experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs), transformers, motors. Certification in electrical safety or maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to work in shifts or on-call as needed.
