Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive environmental impact assessments for proposed projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and providing recommendations to minimize environmental risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) for projects across various sectors (infrastructure, industrial, energy, etc.).
  • Prepare EIA reports, including baseline studies, impact prediction, mitigation measures, and monitoring plans.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate environmental considerations into project design and planning.
  • Review and interpret environmental regulations, policies, and guidelines relevant to the projects.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and coordinate public consultations when required.
  • Conduct fieldwork to collect environmental data such as soil, water, air quality, flora, and fauna assessments.
  • Monitor compliance of ongoing projects with environmental commitments and EIA conditions.
  • Stay updated with the latest environmental laws, standards, and best practices.
  • Support the preparation of Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) and sustainability reports.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Proven experience in conducting EIAs and preparing related documentation.
  • Strong understanding of environmental legislation and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in GIS and environmental data analysis tools is an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for field assessments.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
